There are two types of printing used here at Promowear, screen and digital. With over 20 years of experience, we are well equipped to recommend for you the best solution unique to your order.
Embroidery
Embroidery is the art of stitching your design onto garments, caps or bags using our high-tech computerised embroidery machines.
Bespoke
The various members of our team have many years of experience under their belts, specifically in providing bespoke uniforms for both public and private sectors.
Screen Printing- For vibrant designs or those printed onto dark fabric, screen printing is the best option. The ink in screen printing is applied much thicker than digital printing, which gives brighter results, regardless of how dark the fabric is. Screen printing is also the most effective and economical printing method when printing 25 or more garments.
Digital Printing- Digital printing is best used for items that require high amounts of detail, and orders of a smaller quantity. The fact that the digital printer does not use screens allows for a photographic print, with much more detail than traditional screen printing. As the ink is applied thinner (to achieve such detail), digital printing is best used on lighter colored shirts to allow the design to shine through. The fact that the design is processed and printed digitally allows for a quantity of one, since there are no screens or physical setup.
Embroidery
Embroidery gives items a sleek, professional, hardwearing, and durable finish. Generally considered to be essential in order to ensure a professional looking finish for a design, it is almost always the choice for workwear, sports kits, and uniforms. When we receive your artwork, we use specialised software to convert (digitise) your file into a format that our machines can then read. This incurs a one-off charge of €35 to have your design digitised, which we will then keep on file and it can be re-used again and again.
*There is a minimum order of 10 pieces for embroidery.
Bespoke
